Come join Dr. Brandon Lemuel of Pure Chiropractic and I this coming Wednesday, May 11th at 6:30pm as we talk about ways to manage our stress and optimize our health - both in and outside of the clinic.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month and while stress is not a mental disorder, stress can affect our mental health as well as lead to mental health issues, like anxiety or depression, if left untreated. Unfortunately, the number of Americans suffering from chronic stress is staggering. We have had the adverse affects of the pandemic, inflation, political schisms and war compounded with a shift in our daily rhythms as the world begins to open back up.
Not only can chronic stress affect our mental health, but it can also have negative affects on our physical well-being with symptoms showing up as trouble sleeping, lowered energy, digestive issues, irritability and poor focus. Long-term, stress can contribute to some of the leading causes of morbidity in the U.S., mainly cardiovascular disease.
This is why we are hosting this free talk; we are so passionate about helping others manage stress to optimize their well-being. Both of us have experienced periods of acute and chronic stress ourselves and we want to share how we have utilized our knowledge to manage it and undo the adverse effects of the stress.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, May 11th at 6:30pm. Make sure to register though, as there is a limited number of spots available. You can hover your phone over the QR code below to register.
